Publications
Senior Engineering Geologist with the California Geological Survey (CGS) in Los Angeles managing the Liquefaction Zoning Unit within the Seismic Hazards Program. Over the last 13 years I've been involved in geologic mapping in the western Antelope Valley; active fault evaluations of the Santa Monica and Hollywood Faults in west Los Angeles and the San Cayetano Fault in Ventura County; liquefaction hazard zoning in the Sacramento area; post-earthquake field response to the 2010 El Mayor-Cucapah, 2019 Ridgecrest, and 2020 Lone Pine Earthquake events; post-wildfire field response for both the 2018 Montecito debris flows and 2021/2022 Bond Fire burn area flooding; post-tsunami flooding response from the 2011 Tohoku-Oki earthquake and 2022 Tonga volcanic eruption; and geotechnical report review of over 500 public school and hospital projects in California.
