I am the SCEC UseIT Intern Supervisor. I supervise SCEC's UseIT interns during the summer while they work on a collaborative earthquake problem. Through daily engagement, I help to guide and mentor the interns as they navigate through the intrinsic challenges of research.

During the rest of the year I teach high school and junior high science at Hillside School. High school courses I teach include Earth Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

I have also worked as an environmental consultant (2006-2011) and as a petroleum geologist (2012-2015).
