My name is Paige Given and I attend the University of Houston where I major in geophysics. Throughout my college career, I have found that the topic within geophysics that most interests me is seismology. Once I earn my bachelor's degree, I hope to continue my education through graduate school and complete research pertaining to seismology. My ultimate goal is to become a successful geophysicist and seismologist and work in a career that excites me every day. During the school year, I work as a private tutor for physics and calculus courses. I have found that I have a passion for helping others understand subjects I love and am proud to say that every one of my students completed their calculus and physics courses with an A. When I am not studying or working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my four adorable dogs. Some of my favorite activities include kickboxing, anything related to acting or theater, and catching a good movie with my friends and family.
