- Index files have been provided to allow more fine-grained searches.
- The poster will also present a cost analysis for a variety of analysis activities to give
users an idea of costs incurred working with a cloud archive.
New Data Access Tools and Web Services
- PySTP is a Python module for connecting to STP (Seismogram Transfer Program) servers and
downloading event metadata, phase picks, and waveforms triggered by seismic events. PySTP
requires ObsPy. Tutorials can be found at https://github.com/SCEDC/pystp
- FDSN compliant data availability web services are now available at
https://service.scedc.caltech.edu/fdsnws/availability/1/.
Users can use the availability web services to determine the time ranges for which triggered
and continuous waveform time series are available for download. This service can be used with
the IRIS Rover service.
New Researcher Provided Datasets
- 2019 Ridgecrest Sequence Datasets are available at
https://scedc.caltech.edu/research-tools/ridgecrest-info.html Includes
- USGS Aftershock deployments (network codes GS and ZY) (Hauksson et. al. 2019)
- Quake Template Matching Catalog (Ross et. al 2019)
- CI, CE and CSN accelerometer data for the greater LA Basin. (Fillipos 2020, in revision)
- Cahuilla Swarm Catalog 2016-2019 (Ross 2020)
