Publications
I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Utah. I investigate crustal deformation processes using laboratory experiments with a strong focus on the mechanics of earthquakes and faulting and fault friction. Some of my current work focuses on frictional properties of creeping faults and on the competition between thermal pressurization and dilatancy hardening during seismic slip.
