MEETING VENUE
The SCEC Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Palm Springs in Palm Springs, CA.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The SCEC group rate at the Hilton Palm Springs is $141.00 per night, plus 13.95% occupancy tax, a 3% destination fee, and a $1.14 utility user's fee. Note: The 3% destination fee is automatically added at booking. Self-parking is optional at $30.00 per day. There is no resort fee.

Use the group code “SCEC” to book your reservation via the Hilton Honors website or by calling 760-320-6868 (extension 422). You can also use this direct link to reserve a room.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The venue is ADA compliant and offers guest rooms with accessibility features. For specific needs, please contact the hotel directly. All rooms are close to meeting spaces; therefore, no separate Multi-Faith, Family, Low-Sensory, or Lactation Rooms are designated. If you require these accommodations and cannot secure a suitable room, contact scecmeet@usc.edu for assistance.

Group meals will be buffet-style with options for most diets. For specific dietary concerns, please inquire with hotel banquet staff or contact scecmeet@usc.edu in advance to connect with the banquet manager for special arrangements.

KEEPING HEALTHY
The CDC has updated Respiratory Virus Guidance for protections against spread of COVID-19, RSV and Flu. While community transmission rates are low and vaccination rates are high, the nature of this event (dense gatherings in indoor spaces) requires everyone to commit to common sense hygiene and prevention strategies.

The Statewide California Earthquake Center is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants. We take pride in fostering a diverse and inclusive SCEC community, and therefore expect all participants to abide by the SCEC Activities Code of Conduct.
