MEETING REGISTRATION
The 2024 SCEC Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Palm Springs on September 8-11, 2024. See the meeting program at: https://central.scec.org/meetings/2024/am.

COVID Protocols: The meeting will be in-person only. Before you register, please review the COVID protocols and participant expectations at https://central.scec.org/meetings/2024/am/travel.

Registration Fees: The registration fee is $350 if paid by August 19, 2024, and $450 thereafter. The registration fee gives you access to the plenary sessions, poster sessions, online poster gallery, group meals and other networking opportunities. Those registered after August 19 will not be listed in the printed program. Meeting registration is a two-part process: (1) completing registration form and (2) payment through USC’s secure payment portal. Your registration is provisional until your fee is paid.

Students and Early Career Researchers: SCEC provides funding for students and early career researchers to present their earthquake research at professional conferences. Before applying, please confirm that travel funds are unavailable from your supervisor or institution. To apply for financial assistance, go to https://www.scec.org/research-travel-awards. Assistance is subject to fund availability, with priority given to those with genuine financial need.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES
A full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee, is available for registrations canceled by August 30th, 2024. Cancellations require emailing scecmeet@usc.edu with your SCEC username, mailing address, and reason for cancellation. Refunds are issued by check within 4-6 weeks. Cancellations after August 30th are not refundable.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
SCEC2024 participants are invited to share recent results and activities relevant to SCEC priorities and initiatives during the poster sessions. Abstract submission is a separate process from meeting registration. There is no abstract submission fee for SCEC2024. To submit a poster abstract for consideration, go to: https://central.scec.org/meetings/2024/am/abstracts. The abstract submission deadline is August 19, 2024 (5:00pm PT). No late submissions will be accepted.
