He is a research scientist at Verisk Extreme Event Solution (used to be Air Worldwide). He now works on seismic hazard forecasts (PSHA and PFDHA). Earlier he studied the earthquake rupture dynamic and earthquake ground-motion and fault-displacement hazard via high-performance computing
He received his PhD from the UCSD/SDSU Joint Geophysics Program and BS from the University of Science and Technology of China.
