		Jared Bryan is a PhD student in the department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT. He received a B.Sc. in geology and a B.Sc. in physics from Utah State University. He is a two-time SCEC intern, working at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) in summer 2018 and at Harvard University in summer 2019. His current research focuses on developing new methods for passive seismic monitoring of volcanoes and fault zones, with a particular interest in slow slip events and deep volcanic processes.
