Laura Davey is currently a junior at Stanford University majoring in geophysics. Her goal is to have a career focusing on making the world a better place by helping to predict, prepare for and respond to natural disasters, especially earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. She is part of the 2019 forecasting and simulation team in the UseIT program and has enjoyed the experience immensely.
