Margaret Grenier is an undergraduate SURE intern for SCEC 2018 and has been working with Dr. Yuri Fialko to process and interpret GPS data gathered across the Anza Seismic Gap on the San Jacinto fault. She has been conducting her research at Scripps University using GAMIT/GLOBK software to gather station movements and generate velocities across the fault.
Margaret is a student at the California Polytechnic University of Pomona and is in her senior year. She is studying geology with an emphasis in geophysics and has a passion for seismology. She is currently conducting research with the department studying resonance in the San Gabriel and San Bernadino basins by utilizing ambient noise.
