John managed the websites for all SCEC Communication, Education, and Outreach (CEO) projects, including the ShakeOut, TsunamiZone, and Earthquake Country Alliance from 2000 until Spring 2023.. In addition, he oversaw the databases that support those projects, and frequently worked with professionals at other agencies, both domestic and international, in providing managed access to this data.

John continues to support SCEC web projects as a part-time advisor.
