Publications
Miguel Alvarez is a senior at the University of California Santa Barbara studying Earth Sciences with an emphasis on Geophysics. Miguel is working as a SURE intern under Professor Lingsen Meng at the University of California Los Angeles studying Back-Projection imaging and fault ruptures.
Miguel has also done research under Professor Toshiro Tanimoto at University of California Santa Barbara researching pressure waves as well as seismic motion. He also has an interest in Mechanical Engineering and hopes to combine both fields as a profession in his future.
