Fan (Frank) Fei is currently a Ph.D. candidate of Civil Engineering at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), as a Hong Kong Ph.D. fellow. Before becoming a Ph.D. student, he received the Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from HKU in 2018 with the first honor graduation.
Fei's research focuses on the development and application of novel computational approaches to discontinuities and fractures in geologic materials (e.g. faults, joints, and slip surfaces), which play a critical role in a wide variety of subsurface problems.
