I am currently working towards a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in data science and software development. I enjoy many aspects of computer science and have a wide area of interest in this field. I studied at Pasadena City College (PCC) and participated in several CS-related communities. In 2018-2019, I was the secretary for PCC She.Codes club, with responsibilities of organizing events, planning meetings, and hosting workshops. I participated in several hackathons to develop CS projects, from web apps to chatbots. I am currently an intern in the SCEC UseIT program, which has been exceptional as I learned the process of producing scientific research and explored machine learning to solve a real-world problem. I also developed valuable connections to professionals and students with earthquake science and computer science backgrounds.
I look forward to expanding my professional skillset and possibly becoming a part of SCEC in the future.
