Savannah is currently a senior at Appalachian State University majoring in geology with a concentration in quantitative geoscience and a minor in mathematics. She is working toward earning her bachelor's degree in 2022. In 2020, she was a SOURCES Intern. Besides being involved in the SOURCES program, she does undergraduate research with a faculty member at Appalachian State University (doing mechanical modeling in the Los Angeles region) and interned for IRIS during the summer of 2021. Savannah has experience using MATLAB, Bash, and Generic Mapping Tools, and her primary interests lie in fault mechanics and geophysical modeling. She hopes to go on to attend graduate school and eventually become a professor in applied geophysics.
