Andrew is an Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a field-based structural geologist, with varied research interests in studying continental tectonics from the orogen scale to shear-zone microscale. His work focuses on interpreting the rheological and deformational history of the continents in past and active plate boundary and intraplate settings.
