Amelia is a sophomore studying electrical and computer engineering with a software concentration at Carnegie Mellon University. She's passionate about earth science, and is excited to dive deeper into scientific high performance computing as an intern at SCEC for SOURCES. She's studied earthquake simulations and probabilistic seismic hazard analysis with her mentor.

In her spare time, Amelia enjoys playing tennis, being a tour guide, going on long hikes, and trying different cafes with friends.
