The AWS dataset has the following datatypes:
-- Continuous waveforms:100 sps, 40 sps, 20 sps and 1 sps continuous waveforms 1999-present in channel-day miniSEED files
-- Triggered waveforms 1977-2018 in miniSEED
-- Earthquake catalogs and phase arrivals (1932-present) in ascii files
-- Scripts to retrieve data can be found at https://github.com/SCEDC/cloud. An Amazon Machine Image is available to allow users to quickly create a working environment to use these tools.
-- Index files have been provided to allow more fine-grained searches.
New Data Access Tools and Web Services
- Enhanced access to SCSN Moment tensor solutions – Based on user feedback, the SCEDC has improved reports via the moment tensor catalog search page. https://service.scedc.caltech.edu/eq-catalogs/CMTsearch.php. Users can also request solutions via the event web service: https://service.scedc.caltech.edu/fdsnws/event/1/
New Researcher Provided Datasets
- SCEC Community Fault Model Association Catalog
-- The SCEDC hosts a catalog of events and probabilities of association with faults from the SCEC Community Fault Model described in SCEC article https://www.scec.org/article/619
- Participate in the Community Stress Drop Validation Exercise!
-- The SCEDC is hosting instructions and datasets for the Community Stress Drop Validation Exercise. https://scedc.caltech.edu/data/stressdrop-ridgecrest.html
- W Phase Catalog
-- The SCEDC is hosting a catalog of W-phase moment tensor solutions for SCSN events greater than M5.
