Hadrien Rattez is a Postdoctoral associate in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Duke University. His research interests center on the mechanical behavior of geomaterials and how it is influenced by other physical phenomena to gain a deeper understanding of natural hazards.
He received a MSc., Civil Engineering, from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, France (2014), and a Ph.D., Mechanics, from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, France (2017) under the supervision of Prof. Jean Sulem and Ioannis Stefanou.
