Workshop Report: 2024 Gordon Research Conference and Gordon Research Seminar on Rock Deformation

The theme of the conference was “Capturing Timescales of Rock Deformation”, which focused on how to scale up observations from laboratory experiments to tectonic processes. Heather Savage (UC Santa Cruz) was the GRC chair and Christine McCarthy (Lamont) and Lars Hansen (Univ. of Minnesota) were the vice chairs. The GRS was run by Mark Jefferds and Alex Lusk. The majority of the funds from this grant supported early career researchers.
