Project Abstract |
The purpose of this workshop is to help our dynamic rupture community, our SEAS community, and our whole earthquake-science community better understand how fault-friction works, based on inferences from the lab and inferences from the field. |
| Intellectual Merit | This workshop was a collaborative effort to better understand how coseismic fault friction works. |
| Broader Impacts | The activity broadened participation in earthquake science from groups including U.S. and international early-career and established scientists. |
| Project Participants | We had representation from a wide range of individuals bridging our wealth of earth science knowledge about faults and earthquake mechanics. |
