Project Abstract |
Major objective of the project is to process and reprocess all the campaign GPS data collected in southern California in a rigorous way, to produce the crustal motion map solution and GPS station position time series. Product of the project will be combined with continuous GPS time series produced by other CGM groups, to produce a 4D community geodetic model for southern California. |
Intellectual Merit | The product has been and will be used to refine fault slip rate estimates, assess seismic hazards, and constrain off-fault deformation. |
Broader Impacts | The research has the potential for seismic hazard mitigation. |
