This project introduces a new methodology for the improvement and development of Community Fault Models that are to be used for the forecasting seismic hazard. Specifically, the project uses fault trace maps and relocated aftershocks in conjunction with 3D geomechanical models to refine the geometry of the 1992 Landers multi-fault rupture. |
